Defining an indefinite space through functional considerations
This concept started at an imposing point: an undefined scope, placed within a cavernous show hall. Instead of beginning with parameters, approximate square footage, or a ballroom or three dedicated to this experience, we began with a blank slate.
Before any form exercises or programmatic work could begin, we carved out our required space. We chose our plot of land on which to build. This, in turn, informed the concept throughout multiple points.
